This was a really busy day for Showroom owners and employee. Every 2-wheeler showroom was full of visitor and want to be their customer but this was not easy as other days. People was in the queue in front of showroom gate from early morning. The only reason for such huge rush to 2-wheelers showroom is a heavy discount offered by the different motorcycle manufacturer.
From tomorrow onwards (1st April 2017) BS III compliance bikes will be banned from selling in India. Approx. every manufacturer has been upgraded their whole line-up to BS IV. But some are not and old stock is still in the market and they are offered under this discount scheme.
Discount Offered by different manufacturer
Bajaj has been already upgraded their whole line-up to BS IV, but some old stock was unsold in the market. Manufacturer offered some attractive discount on its old stock Pulsar line-up.
On whole Pulsar Line-up Pulsar 135 LS, Pulsar 150, Pulsar 180, Pulsar 220 F discount was of INR 7000. And the flagship Pulsar RS 200 gets INR 10 K discount. Other than Pulsar CT 100 was also at discounted price of 7K and V15 got 10K price slash.
Honda has some amazing discount on some amazing bikes. I think Honda was the only manufacturer who was providing 19.5K and 30K discount.
Honda announce 20K discount on CBR 150 in Bihar and 30 K in Delhi. On Hornet 160 discount was of 19.5K. This offer was really amazing and so-called offer.
Flagship Apache was discounted INR 10K. Apache 200 already upgraded to BS IV without any marketing and it was definitely a step to clear BS III compliance Apache before the dead end.
Showroom of this market leader manufacturer was full crowded and it was expected. Till 12.05 PM only CD-Deluxe was remaining to sell at the discount of 6.5K. Nobody in that crowd was interested in buying CD-Deluxe. Many of them were showing interest in Glamour and CBZ Xtreme. On bikes like Glamour, CBZ and scooter Pleasure discount were approx. 10K.
Yamaha already cleared all the bikes and scooters in some very first hours of opening. It’s fans weren’t in the mood to let this amazing chance go to waste. Girls were in the crowd too for Yamaha scooters. Yamaha didn’t discount very well on its old stock but was enough to attract enough customer and clear their old stock.
Other than these major manufacturer of Indian 2-wheeler market also offers huge price slash. Like Ducati Scrambler, today Ducati Scrambler was selling at the discount of INR 2 Lakh. If you are Ducati fan or dreaming of buying this one then you must be remembered that back in November 2016 at the time of demonetization some dealers was offering a price cut of INR 90K. Ducati Scrambler is one of the bestselling bike by this Italian manufacturer in every corner of the globe.
